President Report

Untitled Document

Elections, elections, elections. There’s so much important talk about getting out to vote and the mailbox is inundated with all kinds of print materials with supporters of both sides and anyone else who has something to say. While my household is big on exercising the right to vote, I can’t help but consider the other election that is going on… The Detroit NACE elections coming up on November 19th at Meadowbrook.

Yes, it’s that time for all of the Greater Detroit NACE members to show for a chance to elect the 2009 Executive Board! Incredible volunteers will once again run for office and appointments will be made to round out the board for 2 more years. This is the time to get there and hear what the candidates have to say about the future direction of the chapter. What better opportunity to welcome the spirit of giving and bring an unwrapped gift to be donated to Children’s Hospital of Michigan. These will be collected by Nolan Gottschalk and delivered to the hospital. We have done this in the past and what an incredible feeling to be a part of something that gives back to our community.

See you all at the elections!!

Joseph Martinez, 2008 Detroit NACE President
