What a whirlwind the past few months have been. October flew by and November was right on the coattails. Here we are in the beginning of December and the holidays keep coming! October in Detroit NACE was a highlight month with the Excellence Awards under the guidance of Sue Keels and Todd Lloyd. An award-winning event in its own right! Congratulations to the two of them and their committee for producing an outstanding event! Major KUDOS to everyone involved.

November brought us to the outstanding, historic Meadowbrook Hall and the Detroit NACE elections. Congratulations to all the candidates for their appointments and volunteering to take Detroit NACE to the next level in 2009. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Holiday Luncheon on December 17th at The Royal Park Hotel!

Remember that the holiday season is a time of sharing and caring for those that are near and dear to us all.

Responsibilities:

The Finalizations and Logistics Technician is responsible for finalizing all orders and making arrangements for local services (deliveries, installs, etc).  This individual also assists the Detroit Sales Manager with sales and oversees the Local Install Team.  Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have proven sales experience.
• Must possess above-average organizational skills and problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to be flexible on shifts, including weekends.
• Must possess superior customer service skills.
• Experience within the event industry preferred.
• Must be a proven self-motivator, with self-guided disciplines.
• Must have the ability to work with little to no supervision, along with the ability to work within a team environment. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Must possess above-average computer skills.
