Varsha Moudgal, MD is a board-certified infectious disease expert which makes her a uniquely qualified person to speak with on the topic of COVID-19 and the vaccine. After working as an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University for several years, Dr. Moudgal joined the medical staff at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor as the Program Director for the Infectious Diseases postdoctoral fellowship training program. In addition to her role at IHA Infectious Diseases Consultants, Dr. Moudgal serves as the Section Head for the Infectious Diseases Division at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor. Dr. Moudgal’s interests have included the spectrum of adult infectious diseases, C.difficile colitis, HIV, HCV and teaching.
